Ferentis awarded EU Eurostars funding

2015-09-28 Vilnius.  Ferentis UAB, Experimentica Ltd. (Finland), and State Research Institute Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (Department of Nanoengineering), Lithuania, were awarded a 534.364 € funding from the Eurostars programme to develop synthetic human-like corneal models as in vitro tools to aid eye drug assessment and screening, and reduce animal testing. Ferentis will be the project leader.  The project will start on January 4th, 2016 and will run for 24 months.

 

Eurostars is a funding instrument that supports R&D of innovative SMEs in order to aid the development of products that will improve the daily lives of people around the world. Eurostars is co-financed by EUREKA member countries and the European Union Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
